Merion Friends Meeting
Founded in 1682, Merion Friends Meeting is an active Quaker community dedicated to spiritual growth, community engagement, and social justice. Centered around its 1695 meetinghouse, one of the oldest surviving Quaker meetinghouses in the nation, the Meeting brings people together for worship, reflection, education, and service while preserving an important part of Lower Merion’s history.

Riverbend EEC
Riverbend Environmental Education Center is a Philadelphia-area nonprofit dedicated to connecting children to the natural world. Through hands-on outdoor education, summer camps, school programs, and community events, Riverbend inspires environmental empathy and a lifelong love of nature.
Bryn Mawr Film Institute
Bryn Mawr Film Institute (BMFI) is a non-profit movie theater and film education center, presenting a robust schedule of first-run and classic films, special events, and film courses. While equipped with state-of-the-art digital projectors, BMFI takes every opportunity to screen archival prints on 35mm and 70mm film. Having opened in 1926 as the Seville Theatre, BMFI is celebrating its centenary with the year-long BMFI 100 series, using titles spanning the theater's exhibition history to tell the story of cinema—and of our community—over the last century.
Chabad of the Main Line
Chabad of the Main Line is a warm, welcoming Jewish community center serving individuals and families across the Main Line. Rooted in Torah, Chassidic wisdom, and unconditional love for every Jew, Chabad offers meaningful prayer services, adult education, holiday programs, youth activities, Hebrew School, lifecycle support, and community celebrations. With open doors and an open heart, Chabad inspires Jewish pride, connection, learning, and spiritual growth for Jews of every background and level of observance.
Harriton House
Harriton House and Park, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, are what remains of a 700-acre land grant from William Penn to Rowland Ellis in 1681. The most renowned resident was Charles Thomson, a true founding father, who served for 15 years as secretary to the First and Second Continental Congresses and the Confederation Congress, the governing body of the United States from 1781 to 1789 under the Articles of Confederation
The Harriton site consists of 13 acres of parkland, a historic house, built in 1704, and two barns. One barn has been remodeled as an education center, the other houses a small herd of farm animals. Operated as a public park, the land and historic house are owned by Lower Merion Township and administered by The Harriton Association
The Association offers tours, educational opportunities, and public programs focused on the uses of the property over 300 years and the lives of its various owners, Rowland Ellis, Richard Harrison, Charles Thomson, and his wife Hannah Harrison Thomson.
