Throughout 2026, communities across the nation will commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence. Lower Merion 250 was established to bring together the many organizations that preserve, interpret, and share the township's history. By coordinating programs across multiple institutions, the initiative creates new opportunities for residents and visitors to engage with local history and explore the diverse stories that have shaped our community.
Through this collaborative effort, Lower Merion 250 aims to encourage audiences to attend programs, visit the region’s historic sites, and support the organizations that steward our shared heritage.
